Christian Missions Benefit Shoot
August 27, 2010
Christian Missions Unlimited is a non-profit, volunteer mission organization based in Hope Hull, AL. While ministering in Brazil in the early 70's, Founder Chuck Conner's heart was touched by the amazing response to the Gospel and the tremendous need for churches. In 1975, Chuck helped build a church 50 miles from the Bolivian border in the town of Rio Branco, Brazil. The vision that would become a lifetime ministry was set before this pastor. "Build churches in Brazil, where the Gospel will be preached and lives will be changed until Jesus comes."
In June 2010, CMU volunteers built the 300th church, and thousands of Brazilians have found faith with Christ. Many other ministries have evolved around the work site, such as children's activities, home visitations and giveaways each trip.
Join other shooters on Aug. 27 for the 3rd annual CMU Benefit Clay Shoot. All proceeds go to build churches in Brazil.
